Handcrafted Rust Mug with Hand Carved Floral Design, 10 Ounce, Made in USA

This rustic mug was hand thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay. There is a soft botanical design carved free hand around the mid section of the mug. It also has a little floral button on the top of the handle for a thumb rest. It was then bisque fired and glazed with a dripping white translucent glaze that allows the natural speckling of the clay to show through. It was then high fired in my electric kiln.

*Please note, due to the carved design, the exterior surface has some spots of rough texture.

This is a special mug, the carvings show a variety of spring flowers . This unique cup will compliment any rustic, primitive or minimalist decor.

Approximate size: 3.25" across the top rim and 3.5" high, holds approximately 10 oz. of liquid.
