This spoon rest was thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel using a brown speckled stoneware clay. It was bisque fired and glazed with an earthy brown and blue glaze. It was then high fired in my electric kiln.

This spoon rest is great for the serious cook, it will comfortably hold a large ladle or stirring spoon and keep the mess off of your counter and work space.
