This artful mug was hand thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel using white stoneware clay, it was then covered with black underglaze and hand carved to create three different chickens and with a lively design. This method is called sgraffito. It was then bisque fired and glazed and high fired in my electric kiln.
Approximate size: 3.25" across the top rim and 3.75" high, holds approximately 13 ounces of liquid.
*Due to the hand carved nature, the design area has a rough texture.
Microwave, food, dishwasher safe.
